Reconnecting your Rain Barrel in the Spring

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3 to reconnect your rain barrel.

1) Ensure your gutters are clean of all debris (ice, leaves, branches, etc).

2) Remove the winter cover and screws from your gutter and insert your downspout diverter back into the hole. (Be sure to wear gloves as the edges of the gutter are VERY sharp) Once inserted, secure the diverter into the gutter by adding the screws back into place. 

3) Check that your barrel location is still level and stable. Place your barrel back on what ever platform or foundation you have created, and then hook your hose back into the diverter.

That's it! You are ready to start collecting all the good stuff again. Let it rain!!
