Our company was founded in early 2017 in Fort Collins, CO. We are a small, family-owned business who are passionate about rainwater catchment, aka harvesting. We are proud to be dedicated, long-time community members, to raising awareness of the many benefits of rainwater use, and to providing quality products designed to help you cut water costs.
We strive to divert local food-grade barrels from landfills and reduce our ecological footprint, so this allows us to benefit our environment and our community. All our Up-Cycled Barrel products are made with Food Grade High-Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE). This means they are made with a safe, durable, and versatile plastic (Resin Code 2) approved by the FDA, USDA, and NSF for food contact. It is non-porous, resistant to chemicals, moisture, and odors, making it ideal for cutting boards, food prep surfaces, and storage containers.
DID YOU KNOW?
Rainwater harvesting is an ancient practice dating back over 6,000 years. With disrupting rainfall patterns and water shortages becoming more common, rainwater harvesting provides a reliable, decentralized water source. It reduces strain on municipal supplies, helps recharge groundwater, and prevents stormwater runoff from causing pollution. Rainwater harvesting isn’t a trend—it’s the future of water conservation.
Rainwater harvesting has many uses. Here’s just a few examples of how to use rainwater:
Watering the garden/vegetables
Watering the lawn
Bird Bath refills
Watering indoor plants
Washing the car
Water balloon activities
Drip Irrigation systems
